An equine
educational event sponsored by the Huntington County 4-H Horse &
Pony Leaders and the Chief
LaFontaine Saddle Club. Open to all horse enthusiast.

The
Horse-O-Rama will include educational seminars throughout the day.
|
11:00 Dr. William Scheiber of
Huntington Veterinary Hospital,
will speak on selected horse care topics.
12:00 Jack Brush of Bit by Bit Farm,
Uniondale, will talk on the importance of tail care, and will
demonstrate how to tie in a false tail.
1:00 Jacob
DeWeese of DeWeese Equine
Training of
Warren will be doing a ground training
demonstration.

All Day—Farrier,
Jerry Holmes will be demonstrating the importance of hoof care and
shoeing. Jim Shearer of Manasseh Stables in Roanoke will be
demonstrating roping.
|
We will be
having a large tack and clothing consignment area for people to sell
used horse
related items.
So if you are looking for some items to get you started or have
clothing you’ve outgrown,
this will be a great place to look, buy or sell.

A Silent
Auction will be held during the day, which will include all
types of items for you to bid
on. Concessions will also be available. Vendors will
include tack shops, saddle makers, fencing dealers, veterinarians,
as well as several stables.
|
The
Huntington County Humane Society will be present, selling animal
games, shirts, pet
magnets and a
mobile adoption area. There is no charge to attend, but donations
are welcome.
